I received my formal art training at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois, and at the University of Illinois. In the years that followed my formal training, I married, raised four children, and continued to paint, fine tuning my watercolor skills.

     Eventually, I expanded into various media, silkscreen, printmaking, and sculpture. I also began wood carving, a passion of my childhood, and made small wood sculptures of various little creatures from nature, painted in fun, happy, whimsical colors. I really enjoy the freedom of design and color that these little pieces afford me. I would be happy to do custom pieces for your home, large or small!
